This is one of the prettiest early 14" Portrait Jumeau Bébés I have had the pleasure of presenting! She is completely mesmerizing with beautiful spiral blue eyes, pale bisque, exquisite modeling, and a general daintiness of presence.
Mlle. is on her original wood and composition eight ball jointed body with the original patina. Her Jumeau markings are easy to read on her petite derrière. She has the early cupped hands, consistent with her early production. She is wearing a beautiful and quite full, long blonde mohair wig consistent with her era. This wig covers the remnant of the original skin wig she would’ve once worn.
Her costume is a confection of brilliant blue silk-satin and ivory ruching. Tiny poms lavishly decorate her matching bonnet along with generous silk ribbons. She is simply delightful and will brighten your heart and your collection. A delicacy for the true Jumeau enthusiast.
